Deliveries & Shipping

Deliveries & Shipping

We aim to have in stock items dispatched within 3-5 working days. In the unlikely event of a delay, we will notify you by email as soon as possible after your order. Out of stock & pre-order items may be slightly longer and will be detailed in the product description. Pre-order dates are estimated as they are reliant on our suppliers – we will dispatch as soon as they arrive.

If your order contains an out of stock or pre-order item, we will dispatch once your complete order is in stock. If you wish to have your in stock items delivered sooner then please get in touch to arrange.

During public holidays and bank holidays please allow longer for dispatch.

For special order and furniture items, we will update you on the delivery date as we get confirmation from the supplier or manufacturer.

Please get in touch should you have any queries about your order.

Shipping to the EU

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently unable to ship directly to EU customers. If you live in the EU and would like to order something direct, please contact us directly by message or email. Alternatively, check our eBay page for availability and order from there.

Orders to UK addresses – £2.99 Per Order, and you will only pay one delivery charge per order

Orders within the UK are sent via the Royal Mail Tracked 48, which is fully traceable, and if you provide a mobile phone number you will get updates on delivery sent by SMS. Delivery is usually within 48 hours of us posting it, depending on weekends, bank holidays, etc. Larger orders may be sent via Courier (Parcel Force).

Worldwide shipping cost is £12.99 per order, sent by International Tracked & Signed, and normally will be delivered in 10 – 14 days depending on location

Please note, GeekThing customers are responsible for any customs charges or import duties payable on receipt of international deliveries. If a delivery is refused by the consumer or returned due to non-payment of any charges or duties, or the provision of an incorrect address, any charges incurred by GeekThing in shipping and recovering the package may, at our discretion, be deducted from any refund later given for the order.

We hope our customers love all of our products and we aim to provide the best customer service. However should you wish to return your item(s) or it arrives damaged or faulty please contact us within 48 hours (2 days) of receiving your order.

Return items should be looked after and returned in the same condition – especially when damaged or faulty – so they can be returned to our supplier if necessary. This includes the box and protective packaging. Please do not dispose of damaged or faulty items unless we advise you to do so.

You are responsible for any cost of returning the item(s) – unless it is damaged, faulty or incorrect. We are not responsible for lost return items so advise using a tracked or recorded delivery service. We will send out a replacement item as soon as possible, however we may require you to return your item before we dispatch the replacement.

Once we have received your return we will process your refund minus the original postage cost and any courier charges.

For all damaged or faulty items requiring a refund the full cost of your order including postage will be refunded.

Refunds will normally show in your account within 3-5 days but sometimes can take longer especially when paying via PayPal.

If you are a UK/ EU Customer all of the above complies with Consumer Protection distance selling regulations 2000.

The Geek Thing is a UK company which upholds The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Your Statutory Rights are Not Affected.

Product authenticity

All items we sell are brand new and straight from the factory case. However, please bear in mind, most action figures, and similar items are mass produced in China.

Unlike some high end electronic items, they are produced and packaged in cardboard boxes, referred to as “cases”, without additional padding or form. This is because toys are usually meant to be opened and played with by children and they are not designed for collectors to keep (even though many of us do!!).

Items may have slight blemishes on packaging, and in the paint app. This is considered normal and is not a defect in the toy. Whilst we are happy to exchange any item, we cannot pay return postage on items that have damaged packaging. Whilst we will search for the best examples if requested to do so, we cannot guarantee a C-10 condition for figures we send, as these usually do not exist.

We do not send items that have anything more than slight blemishes or creases to the packaging (Less than C8). We do however package items carefully to ensure that they arrive with you in the same condition that they are received by us. If the items are damaged in the transit, we cannot pay for return shipping. Couriers and Postal Service, do not consider an item damaged, if only the box containing the item is damage, and therefore will not pay out for “damaged items” in these conditions.

We will replace items at our discretion but in most cases we will refund returned items and ask you to reorder.
